Hong Ling and Nick Teo Are Expecting
Hong Ling and Nick Teo said Tuesday they are expecting, three months along, due next year. They confirmed the test at an airport after a faint result in Vietnam. She miscarried at 11 weeks in February 2025.
Hong Ling and Nick Teo posted on Tuesday that the family was still one short.
The caption named the cats first. Zhaocai, Jinbao, and Eve. Then: "Turns out, we were still missing one." They called the baby a gift, and stopped at "Baby Teo coming soon." No name.
Lianhe Zaobao says she is three months pregnant. The due date is next year.
After a loss at 11 weeks, they told people at three months and stopped there. No name, no gender. She said they are taking it one step at a time.
A faint line, then the airport
They were filming in Vietnam when her period was late. The pharmacy had no digital test, so they bought a regular one.

At the airport, after they landed, they tested again. The screen said pregnant, one to two weeks.
Nick cried and said yes. He had been nervous waiting outside the toilet.
That airport clip is from a few months ago. They posted it on Tuesday, along with the ultrasound.
At the first scan she heard a heartbeat, and the baby was moving. She told Zaobao that part really got to her.
After last February
In February 2025, at 11 weeks, she started bleeding. A doctor told her there was no heartbeat. She said later it was not something she had done wrong.
They held the news until May, around Mother's Day. People had been asking when they were having kids, and did not know.
She told Zaobao a miscarriage is not a shame. They said it so other couples would not feel alone.
After that loss, she said, some things are not in their control. They are taking this one step at a time. What they want is a baby who arrives healthy.
She also said the news is still settling. More and more, it feels like they are really going to be parents.
They married in December 2023. She is 32, and he is 37.
She said they would be happy with a boy or a girl. She hopes they do not stop at one.
They told people at three months, and left it there.
