Brooklyn Museum

Use the Brooklyn Museum galleries as conversation prompts during untimed pay-what-you-can general admission at the desk (separately ticketed exhibitions keep their own prices). Prospect Heights is an easy pairing with nearby Prospect Park or Brooklyn Botanic Garden if you want a longer day.

First Saturdays in select months offer free evening programming with art, music, films, talks, and dancing, though advance registration and capacity limits apply. The museum is wheelchair accessible, with gallery seating, loaner wheelchairs and stools, assistive listening devices, ASL tours, and selected ASL-interpreted talks.
