Walk the landscaped paths, pause at Hudson River overlooks, or bring a simple snack for a free outdoor date on Pier 55 between West 13th and West 14th Streets. Ordinary park visits need no ticket, and daily opening at 6 a.m. with seasonal closing times leaves room for sunrise, afternoon, or sunset plans.
The park is ADA compliant, with accessible restrooms and two loaner wheelchairs. Select Amph performances add ticketed music or theater when you want a planned second part after the walk.
Use the free grounds for the flexible first half, then check the Amph calendar only if you want a reserved show that night.
