Wave Hill

Spend a slow daytime date among 28 acres of gardens, woodlands, greenhouses, and Hudson River and Palisades views at Wave Hill in Riverdale. Standard adult admission is $10, and all-day Thursday admission is free for individuals (confirm seasonal special-event exceptions).

Main buildings are accessible and manual wheelchairs are available, but gravel, grass, woodchips, slopes, and an inaccessible historic conservatory require route planning. The Pergola and hillside plantings are the scenic payoff when weather cooperates.
