Diwali Motorcade

The 2026 Diwali Motorcade is Saturday, October 24, at Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto Park in Queens. The organizer site says festivities at the Smokey Oval begin at 1 p.m., and that the event is free and open to the public.

Divya Jyoti Association Inc. describes a Lakshmi puja and havan at the park, then lit cars, trucks, and floats along Liberty Avenue through Little Guyana, with tassa drumming, music, and dance.

Diwali at Times Square is a different event on the same Saturday. The motorcade page does not publish a street number for the park, so use the park name on the site when you meet people.
