Ferragosto

Bronx Little Italy's Ferragosto fills Arthur Avenue on September 13 from noon to 6 p.m., rain or shine. The Belmont Business Improvement District presents Italian culture, food from neighborhood businesses, and live entertainment, with a stage on East 186th Street and a paid parking shuttle from Fordham University.

The route runs Arthur Avenue between East 187th Street and Crescent Avenue. Neighborhood restaurant food is the practical draw alongside stage performances.

Use the shuttle if street parking looks impossible, and treat rain as a poncho day rather than a cancellation.
