San Mateo County issues marriage licenses and schedules weekday civil ceremonies in its Redwood City chapel. Published fees include about $78 for the license, $65 for the chapel ceremony, and an optional $50 secure webcast.

The ceremony page lists four daily appointment times, public-license witness requirements, and a phone process for requesting a Spanish-speaking officiant. Licenses are valid for 90 days and ceremonies may occur anywhere in California.
