Santa Clara County offers marriage licenses, reserved indoor or outdoor chapel ceremonies, and express ceremonies at a service window in San José. Both parties apply in person, the ceremony must occur within 90 days, and the completed license must be returned within 10 business days.

A civil chapel ceremony is about $112; express service-window pricing is listed separately. Use the reserved chapel when you want a short formal moment, or the express window when speed matters more than setting.
