Boxcar Park

Boxcar Park is Everett's two-acre waterfront lawn at Waterfront Place: benches over the water, seasonal kite-style picnic shelters with tables, and enough open grass for a low-key picnic or frisbee. Pack food, claim a view, and keep the plan simple.

In spring and summer the Port calendar often adds Sail-in Cinema outdoor movies, concerts, and other events, so check before you go if you want a built-in second act. The park is open daily and closes from dusk to dawn, which is the hard stop for sunset planning.

One practical rule: kite flying is not allowed because of nearby power lines. Dogs on a walk are welcome; sky toys are not.
