Saltstone Ceramics Clay Curious

Clay Curious is Saltstone's two-hour beginner wheel night in Wallingford, and the studio literally recommends it for date night. No experience needed. An instructor demonstrates a cup, then walks each of you through centering, shaping, and pulling walls.

You pick one piece to keep. The studio glazes and fires it, then texts when it is ready, usually about a month later. That delayed pickup is oddly nice: a little souvenir of the night waiting at home.

Sessions run about $100 per person, with a $25 discount advertised when you buy on the first Friday of the month. Evening slots show up regularly, so grab two seats while the calendar still has them.
