Puyallup School District Spanish and ASL Dual Language Programs

Puyallup offers free Spanish-English dual-language immersion for elementary students (Karshner and Dessie F. Evans, with junior-high continuation starting at Aylen) plus an ASL dual-language pathway at Zeiger Elementary that also includes Deaf culture.

Spanish classrooms mix English speakers, Spanish speakers, and bilingual peers by design. ASL dual language is described for Deaf or hard-of-hearing students, Deaf family members, people connected to the Deaf community, and interested learners, with grade expansion published by year.
