Burnaby Village Museum

Burnaby Village Museum is a seasonal open-air village where kids can ride a vintage carousel, meet costumed interpreters, and explore early-20th-century shops. Gate admission is free on ordinary open days, with Haunted Village as the named exception.

Summer 2026 hours have been listed Tuesday to Sunday and statutory holidays in the late morning to late afternoon window. Carousel rides are a small separate fee, so budget a few dollars if that is the main ask from younger kids.

Confirm the current season window before promising a rainy-weekend backup. The museum is not open year-round, but Deer Lake Park nearby can still absorb leftover energy.
