Mundy Park

Mundy Park is a large Coquitlam urban forest with a playground, picnic shelters, washrooms, and a 5.5 km community path that can stretch into a longer walk for older kids. Shorter lake loops help mixed-energy groups share one park without tickets.

City trail guides place the park at 641 Hillcrest Street with an entrance off Chilko Avenue. Free municipal access supports weekly Tri-Cities outings when you need green space more than programming.

Reserve a picnic shelter in season if the group needs a guaranteed table. Otherwise, start near the playground and let teens peel off onto the longer path when they are ready.
