Orange County Adult Protective Services

Orange County Adult Protective Services, within the County Social Services Agency, takes 24-hour reports of suspected elder or dependent adult abuse in community settings. Call 911 for life-threatening emergencies.

The APS hotline is 800-451-5155 for community settings. For abuse in a licensed long-term care facility, the County directs callers to the Long-Term Care Ombudsman at 714-479-0107.

Keep the community versus facility split clear when you report. Non-mandated reporters may report by phone.
