Project Hospitality

Staten Islanders can seek food, clothing, shelter, health and mental-health care, immigrant services, legal and financial help, workforce training, youth programs, or housing through Project Hospitality, an interfaith agency with a broad continuum of services. It functions as a practical public-service access point for the borough.

Volunteers age 16 and older can serve meals, stock pantries, tutor children, support recreation, handle clerical work, help events, or propose a skill such as ESL or art instruction. Schedules and commitments are published on the volunteer page.

Start with the service desk for the urgent need, then apply to volunteer for a role that matches your age and skills.
