Disabled Staten Islanders of any age can call, email, or visit SICIL for benefits, housing, employment, education, peer support, independent-living navigation, computer training, and youth or women's groups. The disability-led center is primarily staffed and governed by people with disability experience.
It offers screen readers, magnification, mouse alternatives, a TTY contact, and Interpretype support for Deaf and hard-of-hearing consumers. Assistive technology access is part of the public offer.
