Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

The 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is set for Thursday, November 26, 2026. Macy's FAQ page describes a roughly 2.5-mile Manhattan route that ends at the Herald Square flagship, with public viewing along NYPD-managed stretches of the path.

Local reporting puts the usual window at about 8:30 a.m. to noon on NBC and Peacock. On the FAQ page at verification, balloon-inflation details for November 25 were still listed as forthcoming.

If you go with kids, claim a curb spot early and pack for cold wind. Watching from home stays the calmer option when relatives need a predictable morning.
