Meet the Tree Day at Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center's official Christmas Tree page says the 2026 Norway spruce arrives on November 7 for Meet the Tree Day, with family activities and photo moments around the Plaza. The tree stays on view through mid-January 2027 after it is lit.

Meet the Tree Day is the arrival celebration. The lighting ceremony comes later. Crowds still build fast around Midtown, so treat November 7 as a short plaza stop.

If you miss that day, the lighting ceremony is listed for December 2. Plaza viewing of the tree remains free once it is up.
