NYC Summer Rising 2026

Summer Rising is NYC's free K-8 summer program combining NYC Public Schools academics with DYCD community-organization enrichment. In 2026, K-5 runs July 1 through August 14 and grades 6-8 through August 7, generally from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Eligibility requires NYC residence and school attendance, with seats subject to availability. Meals, enrichment, and trips sit alongside academics in the official description.
