NYC Public Schools publishes a borough-, district-, school-, model-, and language-filterable bilingual-program list for the current school year, plus MySchools directories and Family Welcome Centers. The system distinguishes Dual Language Bilingual Education from Transitional Bilingual Education and English as a New Language, so families are not guessing what a bilingual label means.

Interpretation for enrollment is available by phone in more than 200 languages, and Welcome Centers help in person. Use the workbook to shortlist schools, then apply through MySchools to the specific program code when dual language is the goal.
