SamTrans Redi-Wheels and RediCoast

SamTrans provides ADA paratransit through Redi-Wheels on the bayside and in Pacifica, and RediCoast on the coastside. The shared-ride services are for people whose disabilities prevent independent use of fixed-route buses.

Certification and advance reservations are required, and the mobility guide describes curb-to-curb service with wheelchair-accessible vehicles. This is not same-day taxi replacement, so plan around reservation lead times.

Apply for certification first if eligibility is unclear, then book only after approval rather than assuming a listing equals a ride.
