Elder care and multilingual senior support around the Bay Area

Find adult day programs, multilingual senior centers, caregiver support, meals, transportation, and service navigation across the Bay Area.

Families looking for elder support are often solving several problems at once: safe daytime care, social connection, meals, transportation, dementia support, benefits, or help understanding longer-term options. A senior center, adult day health program, and caregiver-navigation service are not substitutes for one another.

Use the service tags and location filters to make a first shortlist. Then contact the program directly about assessment, eligibility, current capacity, languages, transportation, funding, and whether the service can meet the older adult's needs.

A few things worth checking

Match the service level before the location

Adult day health may include nursing or therapy, while a social day program or senior center may focus on meals, activities, and connection. Ask what staff and services are present during the hours your family needs.

For memory loss or complex health needs, describe the person's current support needs during intake. A program name or dementia-related activity does not by itself establish clinical fit.

Confirm language and practical access

A translated website does not guarantee that a particular location offers in-language intake, activities, or care. Ask which staff or interpreters are available for the exact service and schedule.

Transportation boundaries, waitlists, payer rules, and caregiver requirements can determine whether a program is usable. Confirm those details before treating a listing as a care plan.

This directory is informational and does not determine medical suitability, licensure, benefits eligibility, payer coverage, or whether a program can safely meet an individual's care needs.
