Alameda County WIC Breastfeeding Support

Alameda County WIC offers enrolled families breastfeeding classes, peer counselors, lactation specialists, and breast pumps after assessment. Classes are free to participating WIC families.

The prenatal class covers feeding preparation and ways fathers, partners, and family members can help. County materials list English, Spanish, and Chinese class pathways, with the North Oakland site at 3600 Telegraph Avenue among locations.
