Mills-Peninsula Breastfeeding Support

Mills-Peninsula Medical Center documents lactation consultants, a prenatal breastfeeding class, and two free weekly support groups at its Burlingame Family Birth Center. The prenatal class encourages fathers and support people to attend.

The free groups welcome partners and grandmothers and are facilitated by a birth-center nurse and an IBCLC. Use the class before birth and the groups after discharge when questions get more specific.
