Solano County Nurse-Family Partnership

Solano County's Nurse-Family Partnership connects eligible first-time mothers with specially educated nurses for regular home visits beginning early in pregnancy and continuing through the child's second birthday. Eligibility includes a first pregnancy, enrollment before 28 weeks, income requirements, and Solano County residence.

Support covers preventive health practices, child health and development, future planning, education, employment, and family economic self-sufficiency. It is a long relationship, not a one-class prep course.

Contact the county as soon as a first pregnancy is confirmed if you may meet income and residency rules, because the 28-week clock is real.
