Museum of Glass

Museum of Glass in Tacoma is a strong rainy-day culture date because the Hot Shop keeps doing live glassmaking even while traditional galleries are closed for a 2026 renovation through December. Smaller shows still appear in the Grand Hall, and the café and store stay open.

Adult admission is $18 during renovation pricing, and Third Thursday evenings are free from 5 to 8 p.m. The accessibility page is unusually specific: ramps, elevators, courtesy wheelchairs, benches, Hot Shop wheelchair spaces, and a folding cane seat.
