Fiesta de la Familia

Fiesta de la Familia at Fort Steilacoom Park features food, live entertainment, an art show, hands-on crafts, roaming entertainers, face painting, balloon making, and a children's parade. The City of Lakewood schedules the 2026 event for September 26 from noon to 6 p.m.

It is one of Pierce County's most explicitly kid-forward festival days, with crafts and a children's parade built into the program. The park setting gives room to picnic between stages.
