Tacoma Moon Festival

Tacoma Moon Festival is a multicultural celebration at Chinese Reconciliation Park with food, arts and crafts, community groups, performances, and a closing lantern parade. The free, family-friendly 2026 festival is September 12 from 1 to 6 p.m.

The lantern parade is the memory-maker for many families, so plan to stay through the close if that is your goal. Park and shoreline setting make the day feel different from an indoor Armory festival.
