Lights at Lafarge

Coquitlam wraps Lafarge Lake in free winter lights from Friday, November 27, 2026, through the end of February 2027. City pages call Lights at Lafarge Metro Vancouver's largest free outdoor display; bulbs run 4 to 10 p.m. daily on a 1.2 km loop that is mostly paved for strollers and mobility devices.

Opening night (5 to 8 p.m.) stacks Coastal Sound Children's Choir, Quayside Voices, The Unified, ceremonies, and a fire-and-light show, with food trucks until 9 p.m. Later nights are quieter before 6 and after 8.

Lafarge Lake-Douglas SkyTrain is the clean arrival. Skip Town Centre Park Community Centre and Evergreen Cultural Centre lots; use the city's posted parking map instead.
