The Los Angeles Department of Aging is California's only city-designated Area Agency on Aging (PSA 25). It funds multipurpose senior centers, congregate and home-delivered nutrition, transportation, caregiver resources, and specialized contracted services for City of Los Angeles residents age 60 and older.

City residents should start here rather than the County AAA for City-funded programs. Meal contributions are voluntary under Older Californians Nutrition Program rules.
