CIDNY hosts New York City's regional Long Term Care Ombudsman Program for residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and family-type homes across all five boroughs. Certified staff and volunteers explain rights and investigate or help resolve complaints. This program covers residential long-term-care settings, not general disputes involving care delivered in a private home.
