Hands-on science, design challenges, demonstrations, mathematics, and a small outdoor rocket area at New York Hall of Science in Corona give elementary-age children and teens plenty to manipulate rather than only observe. Ordinary hours run Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All exhibition spaces, theaters, public restrooms, the cafe, and store are wheelchair accessible, and limited free wheelchairs are available. Friday Community Hours from 2 to 5 p.m. provide free general admission with a same-day reservation (add-ons excluded).
Reserve Friday Community Hours when they open Friday morning if free admission is the plan, or buy regular tickets for a fuller day with demonstrations.
