Queens Zoo

Queens Zoo is a smaller wildlife park with sea lions, an aviary, animals from the Americas, and domestic animals, offering a more manageable animal day than the city's largest zoo. Seasonal hours and admission are published for 2026, and children 2 and under enter free.

The grounds are wheelchair accessible, limited wheelchairs are free, and sensory bags, quiet zones, and marked headphone zones help families plan around noise. Personal care assistant arrangements can be made in advance. Animal and exhibit availability can change with weather, safety, capacity, or animal needs.
