Mid-Autumn Festival at the Chinese Canadian Museum

Chinese Canadian Museum, 51 East Pender Street, Vancouver, BC

September 26, 2026 to September 27, 2026

The Chinese Canadian Museum turns its Chinatown galleries into a Mid-Autumn Family Discovery weekend on September 26 and 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 51 East Pender Street. Drop-in mooncake sampling, playdough mooncake crafts, and Chinese-knot lantern tassels run both days and are included with museum admission.

Saturday adds English and Cantonese Mid-Autumn storytimes with Five Blessings Collective (late morning and early afternoon). Sunday’s snowy mooncake workshops with Chef Christopher Leow are separately ticketed at about $40–$50 plus tax; check the program page for sold-out sessions before you promise a workshop slot.

Standard tickets still apply: adults $18, youth 6–18 $12, seniors and students $14, family rate $48 for up to two adults and three youth, and kids five and under free. Buy timed tickets ahead for busy Chinatown weekends, and plan 60–90 minutes if you want crafts plus a gallery loop.

Cost: Museum admission required (adults $18, youth $12, family $48, kids 5 and under free); drop-in Mid-Autumn programs included; snowy mooncake workshop extra
