Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival Main Day
Slocan Community Hall and Renfrew Community Park, East Vancouver, BC
September 26, 2026
Still Moon Arts Society’s Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival peaks Saturday, September 26, 2026, with a free Harvest Fair from 4 to 7 p.m. at Slocan Community Hall (2750 East 29th Avenue). Expect family activities, live music, artisan booths, and the Harvest Veggie Contest before dusk.
Around 7 p.m., a Twilight Lantern Procession led by Balkan Shmalkan walks the group toward Streamside Lanterns at Renfrew Community Park (2929 East 22nd Avenue), roughly 7:15 to 9:15 p.m., with illuminated art, a homemade lantern contest, and a finale performance among the trees. Entry is free; the organizer asks for an RSVP.
Earlier September workshops are mostly done by this listing’s date, so treat Sept. 26 as the lantern night. Bring layers, comfortable shoes, and a small flashlight for the park path, and meet at the Harvest Fair first if younger kids need daylight play before the walk.
Cost: Free entry; RSVP appreciated
