Filipino Fest at Museum of Surrey

Museum of Surrey hosts a free Filipino cultural day on Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Music, dance, arnis, textiles, cultural displays, Tagalog and English storytelling, and children's activities share the museum with Filipino food vendors and artisans.

The city calls the event family-friendly and open to visitors reconnecting with heritage or meeting the culture for the first time. Food and market purchases are separate from admission, and a sensory-friendly space is available on site.

Arrive with one performance or activity in mind, then leave room for the museum displays. The five-hour daytime window is easier to trim around naps or an elder's energy than an evening festival.
