χpey̓ is the Vancouver School Board's Indigenous Focus Choice School for Kindergarten through Grade 7. Indigenous and non-Indigenous students from across the district can apply. The Musqueam-gifted name means cedar in hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓, and the school centers Indigenous ways of knowing, belonging, and academic goals rather than a single neighbourhood catchment.
