Burke Museum

The Burke Museum on the UW campus mixes fossils, dinosaurs, Northwest Native art, natural history, and visible working labs. It works for school-age kids, teens, and adults who want something to talk about besides "look at that."

Practical family supports are published: loaner wheelchairs and seating aids, sensory tools, changing tables on every floor, a Floor 2 lactation room, and free Museums for All admission for qualifying SNAP/EBT, WIC, foster, or kinship households (no advance registration). Caregiver admission is free.

Hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admission 4:30), with Free First Thursday until 8 p.m. Book ahead for busy free days. Adults about $24, youth 4 to 14 about $16, ages 3 and under free.
