Pathways Park
5201 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105
Pathways Park (Burke-Gilman Playground Park) in Laurelhurst reopened after a 2024 renovation with paved and unpaved route choices to play, picnic, sensory, and overlook areas. Think swings, timber nets, an accessible merry-go-round, sand and water play, porch swings, and a covered picnic shelter.
Three accessible all-gender restrooms each include toddler- and adult-sized changing tables, which is rare planning gold. A sensory garden, nest seating, synthetic lawn, bike racks, and a fix-it station connect cleanly to the Burke-Gilman Trail.
Onsite car parking is limited and mostly reserved for accessible needs, so plan street parking or arrive by bike or trail. Park hours are about 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
