Seattle Children's Museum at Seattle Center is a weatherproof play stop built mainly for kids 10 and under, with Orca Cove for birth to 3 and Discovery Dock floor play for infants about 18 months and under. Adults must supervise; same-day reentry is allowed if you need a snack reset outside.
Summer hours (roughly mid-June through late August) run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with member early access at 9:30. WA resident tickets for ages 1 to 65 are about $16 plus a 6% revitalization fee; under 1 is free. Museums for All is $5 with qualifying EBT, WIC, Apple Health, or similar cards.
Sundays currently keep Mask Up Morning (masks required for ages 3+ until noon). Link to Westlake then Monorail is the classic no-car route. Check for Bumbershoot closures and Clean Week before you promise a specific weekend.
