Pacific Science Center
200 2nd Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
Pacific Science Center is the Seattle Center indoor science day with hands-on exhibits, planetarium and daytime laser shows (free timed tickets inside general admission), butterflies, and rotating maker or space builds. Open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the public courtyard runs later.
Accessibility planning is unusually concrete: sensory-friendly hours with adjusted light and sound, a Sensory Lounge, free sensory kits, benches, accessible restrooms with changing tables, loaner wheelchairs, and complimentary aide admission. That detail matters more than generic "family friendly" marketing.
Buy tickets ahead on busy weekends, and reserve planetarium slots early because they sell out. Seattle Public Library Museum Pass participation comes and goes; check SPL before you count on a free pass.
Cost: Paid general admission; Seattle Public Library Museum Pass availability is limited and requires advance reservation
