Vancouver Japanese Language School

Founded in 1906, Vancouver Japanese Language School is B.C.'s oldest Japanese language school. Annual Saturday and Sunday classes run September through June at 487 Alexander Street for Kinder, heritage speakers, and students learning Japanese as an additional language.

Tracks include Kinder, Heritage for home speakers, and Fundamental or Youth for learners of Japanese as an additional language. Kids camps run on holidays and VSB Pro-D days, with summer camp weeks in the warmer months.

Pick the track that matches how Japanese is used at home. A heritage speaker and a brand-new learner do not need the same Saturday, even if they are the same age.
