SUCCESS runs Immigrant Settlement and Integration Program help across Metro Vancouver. In Vancouver, the Pender Service Centre at 28 West Pender Street is a practical first stop for settlement questions, English classes, employment workshops, career mentoring, and community activities.

The same program family also has centres in Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, and Coquitlam, and workshops can run in English or other languages. Funding rules still decide who can enrol, so check current eligibility before you assume every temporary status qualifies.

Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby cares for Japanese Canadian history and Japanese culture in Canada. The campus holds exhibits, year-round programs, and festivals such as Nikkei Matsuri.

If you want to help, volunteers 16 and older can work in visitor services, education, the bookstore, the gallery, collections, or special events after signing up in Better Impact and finishing a free criminal record check. Matsuri weekend shifts are a clear seasonal way in.
